Why should you buy a barn, barndominium, arena, airplane hanger, or any other pole barn from Pacific Pole Buildings?

CHOICE!

Over the past decade, we have evolved from a company selling small sheds and agricultural buildings to local customers to a West Coast company providing engineering, design, and materials for Wood Frame, Post Frame, Formed Steel, Cold Steel, and Red Iron buildings.

Unlike other companies that specialize in only one style, we can provide you with unbiased information about the various building styles available.  We have become a single source for contractors and DIY customers seeking information about the different construction alternatives for metal buildings.  You will find our buildings from the high desert to the high mountains, the windy coasts to the wet valleys, in Wenatchee, WA, Redding, CA, Winnemucca, NV, Bend, OR,  Port Angeles, WA, McCall, ID, and everywhere in between. When people ask where we are located, we tell them, “wherever your building is going”.

You should never buy just a pole barn kit!

We work with engineers, designers, and companies from different states and regions to ensure that your building is designed for your specific location. Cold steel is best suited for large buildings and those with potentially high snow loads. Cold-formed steel and wood frames are ideal for DIY enthusiasts. For barns, wood frames are the most flexible and design-friendly.  As one of the few companies that sells various metal buildings, we make recommendations without favoring one style over another.  It’s all about your needs and which structure best fits.

Not Specializing Give us an advantage over other companies!

We are not here to convince you that one specific style is better than another. It’s like trying to convince someone that a hiking boot is as good as a running shoe for jogging.  The most significant factors that determine what kind of style and materials are needed are:

  • Use
  • Location
  • Cost
  • Who is erecting the building

OUR SURVEY IS OUR STARTING POINT!

People usually start with “what does a building Cost?” because they want to make sure it will fit their budget.  We will take the time to review the various advantages of each framing style. Location matters due to factors such as temperature, wind, snow, soil type, and seismic zones.  Use matters because trusses, walls, and floors play an important part in engineering a building.
